Solderability Test

Solderability Test

Solderability test stimulates component’s soldering capability.

It is typically performed for long-period stored devices.

This test, which utilizes wetting balance technology, is the most accurate method for testing, measuring, and verifying solderability.

Solderability can be determined by Wetting, Thermal demand, Resistance to soldering heat.

Most types of electronic components can be tested, including leaded and lead-free components, and it is being done by using a MUST tool (Multicore Universal Solderability Testers).

This tool helps measuring component’s abilities of wetting or the quality of contact between fluid solder and component’s surface.

The test is successful if the measurement reaches and maintains specific known parameters.
